On 15 September 2025 the welcome ceremony for the trainees of the XLI Advanced Training Course was held at the SFP venue. This Course is aimed at honing the expertise of the Management Grade Officers/Officials of the Police Forces. The SFP Director, National Police Dirigente Generale Maurizio Vallone, together with the Head of the of II Service, Studies, Researches and Courses, Carabinieri Corps Brigadier General Alessandro Della Nebbia, welcomed the trainees of this Course.
This year the Course is attended by 18 Senior Police Officers/Officials belonging to the four Police Forces (National Police, Carabinieri Corps, Guardia di Finanza Corps and Prison Police) as well as by five Senior Officers belonging to foreign Police Forces from Argentina, Algeria, Brazil and Panama, attending as auditors.
The ceremony was held at the prestigious “Aula Caracciolo”, where the Director Vallone underlined the peculiar aspects of the training program and stressed the importance to set up a network of professional and human relations affecting the whole professional life of the trainees and representing a real “added value” of this Course.
During his welcome address the Director illustrated also several training initiatives scheduled to be implemented in this Academic Year, including the participation of the top figures of the Police Forces as well as of many experts in the field of cybersecurity, counter-terrorism, fight against money laundering as well as representatives of the main national authorities together with the leading figures from the worlds of culture, politics and economics.
The most important new initiative to be mentioned is the collaboration with LUISS University in Rome, which will deliver a II Level Master’s degree to the trainees of the XLI Advanced Training Course. Prominent professors from this university, who represent excellence in the national legal scenario, will participate in this initiative.
Highlights included greetings from the trainees of the 40th Advanced Training Course, represented by the Course leader, Prison Police Primo Dirigente Cristina Esposito, who was connected remotely, as well as from the National Police Vice Questore Stefania Mazzotta, the Colonel of the Guardia di Finanza Corps Marco Sorrentino and the Colonel of the Carabinieri Corps Filippo Vanni.
Moreover, Argentinian Prefecto Principal Arturo Daniel Viana and Major Moussa Mbodj from Senegal also participated remotely, representing the foreign auditors who completed their training period last June alongside their Italian colleagues.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the new Course trainees, who expressed their pride and great interest in this training experience, confident that they would be able to reap the full benefits of a program that promotes the culture of coordination and makes the SFP the most suitable venue for the professional growth of Management Grade Police Officers/Officials.
