The Course on Calls for Italian Senior Police Officers to be detached to EU Agencies and International Organizations, which was organized for the first time during the Academic Year 2019-2020, is aimed at effectively matching the national strategic need to prepare Senior Police Officers/Officials participating in competitions announced by EU Agencies and International Organizations. The main purpose consists in providing the trainees, selected by their Administration, with the expertise missing in their professional background and that is necessary to pass the competition tests.
Also in the next year the Scuola di Perfezionamento is willing to go on cooperating with the Società Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale (Italian Society for International Organizations – SIOI according to the Italian acronym), in line with the memorandum of understanding signed on 29 November 2019.
The experience gained during the last years makes it possible to validate the general approach to the training activity, thus confirming a standardized three-week learning course in English language to be held at the venue of the Scuola di Perfezionamento.
This Course can be attended by Senior Police Officers/Officials who are potential candidates for middle management career positions at EU Agencies and International Organizations. This is the proposed curriculum for this Course but, if necessary, further training initiatives could be adopted.
