On 2 February  2024, the 123^rd Refresher Course on Interagency Coordination and International Cooperation, held at the Scuola di Perfezionamento, was concluded. It was addressed to the four Management Grade Police Forces’ Officers/Officials.

This Course, lasting 5 weeks, was aimed at providing for the knowledge of new  rules and  techniques  at management, organizational and operational  level, as well as at sharing police forces’ information to achieve a better coordination of police activities.

During this Course, two new subjects have been addressed for the first time: “International Judicial Organization for the Fight against Organized Crime and Terrorism”,  dealt with by Mr. Giovanni Melillo, National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor, and “International Police Forces’ Cooperation”, dealt with by Prefetto Raffaele Grassi – Deputy Director General of Public Security Department – Criminal Police Central Director.

This training activity was aimed at  strengthening  European  and international focus on these matters  by means of lectures on cross-border judicial and investigative coordination.
