On 22 June 2026, a conference entitled “Intelligence in the New World Order” was held at the “Prefetto Carlo Mosca” Conference Hall. It was organized jointly by the Department of Public Security and the SFP.
This event provided a comprehensive analysis of contemporary geopolitical dynamics, focusing on the need to update security strategies and intelligence analysis methodologies in order to face the constant changes of global balances, the evolution of cyber threats and the new hybrid conflicts that are redefining the international landscape.
The session was opened with a welcome address by the National Police Dirigente Generale Vincenzo Massimo Modeo, SFP Director, before moving on to the main part of the event, introduced and coordinated by Mr. Giovanni Cinque, Lawyer, Vice-President and Team Leader of the Defence & Security Commission of the Diplomatia Association.
The core of the debate unfolded through the contributions of Ambassador Giovanni Castellaneta, President of Diplomatia, and Prefetto Vittorio Rizzi, Director-General of the Department of Security Information (DIS), whose presence enabled the key lines of thought within this sector to be outlined, focusing on the crucial role of intelligence as a fundamental predictive tool for safeguarding national interests as well as on the central importance of cooperation and information coordination between institutions and international partners.
The event reaffirmed the importance of synergistic dialogue between security institutions and the diplomatic community in order to effectively understand and manage the challenges of the new world orderdiale.
