On 18 June 2024, the Academic Year 2023-2024 ended with a ceremony held at the Scuola di Perfezionamento per le Forze di Polizia, in which the trainees of the XXXIX Advanced Training Course were awarded their attendance and completion certificate.
This event was held in the presence of the Chief of Police – Director General of Public Security Department, Prefetto Vittorio Pisani, the Commander General of the Carabinieri Corps Teo Luzi, the Commander General of the Guardia di Finanza Corps Andrea De Gennaro and the Head of the Penitentiary Police Department Giovanni Russo, as well as the Ambassador of Argentina and representatives of the countries of origin of the foreign trainees who participated in this course (Algeria, United Arab Emirates, France and Peru).
In his welcome speech, the Scuola di Perfezionamento Director, National Police Dirigente Generale Maurizio Vallone, underlined that the participants had also acquired a further benefit from their participation in seminars and conferences held by the judicial, civil, administrative, accounting and military top authorities, as well as by all the Authorities and Independent Agencies, the Intelligence Agencies, the Anti-Mafia Parliamentary Commission and Copasir, as well as experts from MAECI and Institutes specialized in international geopolitical analysis.
Then, the four Police Forces’ leaders addressed their greetings to the trainees and the authorities attending this event. The Chief of Police, in highlighting the importance of the Interagency Academy as a training opportunity for the public security representatives, emphasized that “current events bring about the obligation to take immediate decisions and, in this regard, the Scuola di Perfezionamento provides future Management Grade Police Officers/Officials with knowledge and skills that enable them to cope with difficult decision-making choices.”
At the end of the ceremony, the trainees of the XXXIX Advanced Training Course were awarded the attendance and completion certificate as well as the II Level Master Degree from the “La Sapienza” University and earned the “Scuola di Perfezionamento per le Forze di Polizia – t.SFP” qualification (a special golden pin).
