On 15 November 2022 the course on “Undercover Operations” was started. It was promoted by the Scuola di Perfezionamento per le Forze di Polizia in partnership with the Anti-Drug Central Directorate and was financed by the UE Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL). A number of 29 Senior Police Officers/Officials coming from EU Member States, Denmark, Turkey and North Macedonia have been attending this course until 18 November 2022.
This training activity was carried out with the contribution provided by Italian Police Forces’ experts as well as by the US DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration), Europol, German and Spanish authorities.
This course was aimed at analyzing in details the different topics concerning the fight against various forms of organized crime, thus relying on the special techniques used to carry out undercover operations. The participants increased their knowledge about the operational methods used to counter domestic and cross-border crime by means of the above-mentioned undercover operations as well as their skills to implement European tools for judicial and police cooperation.
