In the light of its well–known international profile, on 15 and 16 February 2023 the Scuola di Perfezionamento hosted a two-day duration Workshop on the topic concerning the recovery of organized crime assets. This event was held at the “Prefetto Carlo Mosca” Lecture Hall and was attended both by EUROPOL and by the Criminal Police Central Directorate, International Police Cooperation Service.
The Academy Director, Carabinieri Corps Major General Giuseppe LA GALA , welcomed Prefetto Vittorio Rizzi, Deputy Director of Public Security Department- Director of the Criminal Police Central Directorate, as well as the Deputy Executive Director of EUROPOL, Mr. Philippe LECOUFFE, who supervised the meeting activities, in the course of which many national and European prominent figures representing the current Swedish Presidency of the European Commission, the DG Home European Commission as well as the main European Agencies such as EPPO – OLAF- EUROJUST, delivered their lectures.
Therefore, also on this occasion, the Scuola di Perfezionamento had the opportunity to represent the best example of an institution committed in integrating and conducting the debate at international level on organized crime phenomena, with the aim of sharing specific expertise, intelligence and best practices.
