On 31 October 2023, the Fourth meeting of the Honorary Committee was held at the “Prefetto Carlo Mosca” Conference Hall in the Scuola di Perfezionamento. This Committee is made up of the former Directors of this Institute and it is headed by the current Director, National Police Dirigente Generale Maurizio Vallone, with the aim of promoting and strengthening the development and spreading of the culture of coordination among Security and Police Forces.
This Committee, which was established in May 2021 by decree of the Chief of Police – Director General of Public Security Department, holds its meetings at least once a year, when the anniversary of the first day of training activity of the I Advanced Training Course is celebrated.
The Deputy Director General of Public Security Department, who is responsible for the activity of coordination and planning of Police Forces, Prefetto Stefano Gambacurta, as well as the Scuola di Perfezionamento’s Director and the former Directors, Prefetto Renato Capasso, Prefetto Gennaro Vecchione, Carabinieri Corps Lieutenant General Riccardo Amato and Major General Giuseppe La Gala, participated in this event.
During this meeting the English Language Certificates were delivered to the Italian trainees of the XXXIX Advanced Training Course, who were awarded with them at the end of an intensive language training carried out in September and October 2023 under the management of the Carabinieri Corps’ Foreign Language Centre. This event represented an important occasion to share and analyze in details the possible trends and developments of the Scuola di Perfezionamento, which will be focused on an increasing coordination and mutual support with the other Training Security Institutes, both at domestic and foreign level , with the purpose of providing a more integrated training activity.
