The Caserta-based International Advanced Training Institute for the Prevention of and the Fight against Organized Crime has recently started again its learning activity, after the stop caused by the COVID -19  emergency,  and  organized its lectures by e-learning video-conference. In this way, the Institute was able to ensure, for the Academic Year 2020-2021, the delivering of  the training activity devoted to managament and middle-management grade police officers belonging to  law enforcement forces coming from all over the world.

At the same time, the training activity has been renewed and the learning plans have been revised,  with a special focus on the different macro-geographical areas worldwide.

At the moment, an e-learning module on “ Trafficking in human beings and trafficking in migrants” is underway, taking into account  the macro-areas of Europe and Africa, and analyzing the most peculiar aspects of the phenomenon of migration, such as the protection of human lives at sea and the strategies to fight against the trafficking in migrants.

This course represents a major opportunity offered to Italian and foreign police officers to discuss and exchange their knowledge and professional experiences, taking advantage of the high professional  level of their trainers.
