At first, the SISFOR portal was set up by means of the funds of the National Operational Programme on Legality 2014-2020. This is an online platform that uses the e-learning system to deliver a lifelong, integrated and constantly updated professional training to all the members of Police Forces (National Police, Carabinieri Corps, Guardia di Finanza Corps and Local Police) deployed throughout the territory of the four Regioni Obiettivo Convergenza (Apulia, Calabria, Campania and Sicily). These regions, which are particularly affected by phenomena deriving from organized crime, require to provide police forces’ members with high-performance tools and more in-depth knowledge.
