In the afternoon of 15 April 2024, the book “PRO BONO COMMUNI – Scritti in onore di Carlo Mosca” (Writings in honor of Carlo Mosca), edited by Marco Valentini and Guido Melis, was launched at the “Carlo Mosca” Auditorium of this Institute.
This publication contains essays and personal memories of some of the many people who have known Prefetto and State Councilor Carlo Mosca. The many contributions contained in this book deal with the main topics that characterized the career and the research activity of Prefetto Carlo Mosca.
At the beginning of this event, the Director of the Scuola di Perfezionamento, National Police Dirigente Generale Maurizio Vallone, extended his greetings. Then, Mr. Marco Valentini, Prefetto and State Councillor, introduced the session, while Mr. Vincenzo Antonelli, Professor at the University of L’Aquila, in his capacity as moderator, coordinated and presided over the lectures delivered by the guest speakers.
Mr. Umberto Triulzi, Professor at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, as well as the “Università Pontificia Lateranense” and Mario Morcellini, Professor at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, delivered their presentations.
The Scuola di Perfezionamento’ s Dean of Lecturers, Professor Vito Tenore, Section President of the Court of Auditors, who was unable to be present, sent a message in which he recalled with affection and friendship Prefetto Mosca by these words: “…the human and professional history of a great Man, a great Servant of the State, Carlo Mosca…”
Then, the Scuola di Perfezionamento Director expressed his thanks to the organizer of this event, the retired National Police Dirigente Superiore Giovanni Aliquò, for his contribution.
