In the morning of 21 May 2024, a Panel Discussion on “The Security of Transportation and Logistics” was held at the “Prefetto Carlo Mosca” Conference Hall in this Institute.
This event was attended by leading figures from the fields of transportation, logistics and the National Police.
Federico Patti, Head of Process Engineering at Unieuro SpA and Nicola Magnotta, Vice President of Cincotti&Company SpA, a leading company in the Claims Management industry, addressed the topic of Logistics Strategy and Marketing, while in the second part of the Panel Discussion, Paolo Cesta, Director of the 2nd Division of the Postal Police Service; Francesca Monaldi, Head of the Railway Police Service; Roberto Massi, Chief Security & Risk Officer of the Ferrovie dello Stato Group and Massimiliano Nigro, Head of Operations Coordination at Autostrade per l’Italia, addressed the sensitive topic of transportation security.
The lecturers emphasized the importance of synergies and supervisory collaboration on highways and in stations, both as regards the issues concerning logistics or insurance, and the duties of the Traffic and Railway Police.
