On 18 May 2023, the 20-year anniversary day of the XVIII Advanced Training Course was celebrated.
This event, which was opened by a short but suggestive flag-raising ceremony held in the main courtyard of the Scuola di Perfezionamento, was attended by a large number of trainees of the XVIII Advanced Training Course and their families, who participated to celebrate the 20-year anniversary day of their training activity in that venue, together with the trainees of the XXXVIII Advanced Training Course.
Then, the trainees of the two above-mentioned Courses met at the Conference Hall of the Scuola di Perfezionamento, where its Director, Carabinieri Corps Major General Giuseppe La Gala, delivered his welcome address together with the Course leaders of the XVIII Advanced Training Course and of the XXXVIII Advanced Training Course, respectively.
Moreover, a video of the academic life of the XVIII Course was shown and there was an exchange of crests between the two Course leaders to mark the ideal handover between two generations of trainees. This meeting, during which the participants experienced moments of intense emotion and had the opportunity to exchange experiences related to two different generations of Police Forces’ Management Grade Police Officers/Officials, represented the trend of the Scuola di Perfezionamento aimed at maintaining the relations among those who, in the course of the years, have been living the same experiences of human and professional development.
