On 26 September 2022, the Scuola di Perfezionamento welcomed a delegation of the Indonesian national police, made up of more than 30 Senior Police Officials.
Several Senior Police Officers of the Public Security Department participated in this meeting in their capacity as lecturers. They provided the foreign guests with an exhaustive outline of the Italian Police training system, with a special focus on the Scuola di Perfezionamento, and described the management of public order during demonstrations and the methods used to counter terrorism and illegal immigration. Then, the Indonesian delegation illustrated the activities carried out by the Indonesian Police Academy in the field of training of Senior Police Officials in its country.
This visit emphasized the peculiar feature of the Scuola di Perfezionamento, which is increasingly committed in developing relations with foreign countries in the field of training, international security and cross-border crime, in the awareness that only a joint international training pattern can be effectively used to face the complex and growing challenges affecting law enforcement.
