Yesterday, Prefetto Lamberto Giannini, Chief of Police-Director General of Public Security Department, opened with these words a seminar held in the framework of the training activity addressed to the XXXVI Advanced Training Course. It was a training initiative addressed to Senior Police Officers/Officials of the four Police Forces, which was focused on the topics concerning security issues during the emergency period due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as on the future scenarios for national security and on the threat analysis.
This event, which represented for the Advanced Training Course the last training activity scheduled in the broad programme of meetings with the leaders of the Judiciary and Police Forces, was an opportunity to carry out a deep analysis of the phenomena as well as to exchange personal and professional experiences in a common framework.
At the end of the meeting, the Director of the Academy, the Carabinieri Corps Major General Giuseppe La Gala, delivered a symbolic gift to express the Academy’s esteem to the Chief of Police for delivering his lecture.
