Mr Giuseppe Bottillo, Major General from the Guardia di Finanza Corps, who has been the Director of the Interagency Law Enforcement Academy of Advanced Studies for 18 months, finished his period of directorship since he was assigned to take over a new and distinguished position.
The Deputy Director, Mr Antonio Bacile, Brigadier General from the Arma dei Carabinieri Corps, will take the Academy direction, waiting for the appointment of the new Director of the Interagency Law Enforcement Academy of Advanced Studies, Mr Giuseppe La Gala, Major General from the Arma dei Carabinieri Corps, who will take over his position on 1 July 2020.
In his farawell speech, delivered to the Academy staff, Major General Bottillo underlined the praiseworthy reputation of this Academy, which is the key point for the training of Law Enforcement Officials belonging to the four Police Forces, who will be appointed to hold important positions inside their organizations. He urged the Academy staff to be aware, with enthusiasm and dedication, of the importance to be part of this Academy where the different bodies of Public Security live together respecting their peculiar characteristics, with the aim of further developing..the culture of coordination and exchanging their experience and knowledge.
After giving his regards to the permanent staff, the Director wanted to take his leave of the Institutional Authorities of the Security Department sending them a letter which is illustrated hereafter.
