On October 5, 2020, the XXXVI Advanced Training Course was opened. This year the above-mentioned Course is attended by 21 Senior Police Officers belonging to the four National Police Forces (National Police, Arma dei Carabinieri Corps, Guardia di Finanza Corps and Prison Police), as well as by six foreign Senior Police Officers, in their capacity as auditors, belonging to the Police Forces of Albania, Brasil, Ivory Coast, Kosovo, Niger and United States.
The Director of our Academy, Major General Giuseppe La Gala from the Arma dei Carabinieri Corps, delivered a welcome speech to the Senior Police Officers attending the Course and, together with the some Senior Police Officers of Academy Permanent Staff, provided for a detailed description of the Academy’s structure and tasks.
The Advanced Training Course is the most important learning activity in the Academy and it is aimed at honing the scientific and professional expertise of the Senior Police Officers as well as at improving their decision-making skills, providing them with shared methods and techniques in the fields of organization, development and coordination of institutional activities.
This year the trainees will be involved in the study of judicial matters included in the four traditional learning areas (police forces coordination and fight against organized crime and terrorism; international cooperation; social, economic and communication sciences; public management), and they will attend also an intensive English Course managed by the Foreign Language Center of the Arma dei Carabinieri Corps.
