Dedication of the Lecture Hall to Prefetto Carlo Mosca

On the occasion of the thirtieth day after the death of Prefetto Carlo Mosca, the celebration for the dedication to him of the Lecture Hall in the Interagency Law Enforcement Academy of Advanced Studies will be held in the morning of 30 April 2021.

In the past, he had been Prefetto of the Rome town, as well as Chief of Staff with the Ministers of Interior Amato and Pisanu, State Councilor, Deputy Director of SISDE, Director of the Advanced Studies College at the Ministry of the Interior, Professor at the Milan-based Cattolica University as well as at the Rome-based La Sapienza University.
Prefetto Mosca dedicated his outstanding experience to the training activities of our Academy, at first in his capacity as Assistant Professor and then as Full Professor in the field of “General theory of coordination and fight against organized crime and terrorism”.

He had a deep relationship with the trainees of the 36 Advanced Training Courses which have been held up to now. He dedicated to them his last publication “Security, Values, Patterns and Institutional Practices” and he will represent for ever a point of reference and a tutor for the past, current and future Senior Police Officers/Officials. In fact, he provided them with an heritage of values he himself represented as well as a lot of noteworthy scientific publications.

This event, which will be held in compliance with the common regulatory protocol for measures to combat and contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the workplace, will be attended by the Minister of the Interior, Prefetto and State Councilor Luciana Lamorgese, as well as by the most important political and institutional representatives of the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security Department, by the Heads of Police Forces and by Prefetto Mosca’ son, Mr. Davide Mosca.
