On Monday 8 May 2021, the Course on Prevention of and Fight against Terrorism and Subversion was held at the International Advanced Training Institute in Caserta. This Course, which was addressed to the foreign trainees of the European countries as well as of the MENA Region-Middle East and North Africa, was attended also by the representatives of Greece, United Kingdom, Palestine and Israel.
This meeting by videoconference was attended by 45 trainees, 18 Italian and 27 foreign attendees. The lectures dealt with the topic of antiterrorism, taking into account both the domestic crime and the foreign crime, as well as the whole global subversive scenario.
These lectures were delivered by videoconference by professionals belonging to Police Forces, civil society as well as by magistrates, such as the Public Prosecutor of Catanzaro Nicola Gratteri and Mr. Nando Dalla Chiesa, Full Professor at the Political, Economic and Social Sciences Department at the Università degli Studi in Milan.
The Course was closed with the farewell greetings by the Director of the Interagency Law Enforcement Academy of Advanced Studies, Major General from the Carabinieri Corps, Giuseppe La Gala, who was connected to the trainees at the Caserta-based Institute, where, subsequently, had a meeting with the staff of said Institute, taking into account the possibility to adopt further initiatives aimed at improving the online training activity.
