On 30 November 2021, the Scuola di Perfezionamento per le Forze di Polizia (Interagency Law Enforcement Academy of Advanced Studies) welcomed a large delegation from the Turkish Ministry of the Interior, headed by the Chief of DSIODC – Smuggling, Intelligence, Operations and Data Gathering Department – Mr.Gazi Levent KURTGLU.
This event, which was held in the framework of a comprehensive programme of meetings at other offices of the Public Security Department, as well as of the Carabinieri Corps Headquarters, is part of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), a UN organization which is responsible for coordinating aid and funding programmes addressed to developing countries.
This delegation, which was welcomed by the Academy Director, Carabinieri Corps Major General Giuseppe La Gala, had the opportunity to get a lot of information about the different training activities addressed to Management Grade Police Officers/Officials, as well as to know in details the characteristics of our Academy such as, for example, its increasing trend to establish relations with foreign countries in the fields of international security and transnational crime.
